Mommies.. Be sure ask with the seller about the Cloth Diaper before purchasing a brand or types of Cloth Diaper. Important ya mummy!! Because other types of Cloth Diaper probably requires different of care and washing. Sellers out there, don't forgot to tell buyers about this..

Mostly, we may heard about Microfiber, Cotton, Bamboo, Fleece, Suede and so on kan?? Masing-masing ada advantages and disadvantages.
1) FLEECE/MICROFLEECE
- This synthetic material is 100% of polyester. It is normally used in the Diaper Bags, AIO/AI2 and Diaper Cover.
- There are many types of quality fleece. The best quality is the 'Polar Fleece'
- Advantages: Very soft to use on baby's skin. Ability to attract water into the lower layers in effective and make baby's skin stay dry while wearing Cloth Diaper, breathable, easy to clean, 'Cepat Kering' and stain resistant.
2) MICROFIBER
- This material is often used as an insert and it is a combination from polyester and polyamide (a type of synthetic material).
- Advantages: Cheapest, easy to find, have a good absorption power, able to absorb liquid from the surface of the skin quickly compared to other materials.
- Disadvantages: Not to be used directly on baby's skin because it will lead to dryness. This type of material are non-biodegradable.
3) PUL (POLYURETHANE LAMINATE)

- Polyurethane Laminate or PUL has gained great popularity as a fabric treatment. It is applied to the surface of a porous fabric usually polyester but also a cotton to provide a flexible, totally waterproof layer.
- PUL makes functionally good diaper cover. It is an effective barrier to liquids.
- Advantages: Breathable
4) BAMBOO
- Bamboo is increasingly popular for the manufacture of Cloth Diaper. It is used as a base material such as fitted diaper, lining of the pocket diaper and insert as well.
- Advantages: Breathable, soft, able to absorb liquid more than microfiber (suitable to use at night), anti-bacterial properties, natural materials, environmental friendly and sustainable (Bamboo does not use pesticides, easily and quickly buried).
- Disadvantages: Prewash need 6-7 times before using for the first time to ensure the high absorption. During the prewash cannot be washed with other fabric and the prices are more expensive.
- Currently, there are Terry Bamboo Cloth with loops or threads like towels or bamboo fleece like hemp. However, both are a good absorption of the material.
5) HEMP
- Usually used as the basis for fitted diaper, as a diaper's insert and as a layer on the pocket diaper.
- Advantages: Durable, capable of being softer after continued use, power absorption better than microfiber (suitable for night use), environmental, anti bacterial properties, suitable for use when hot or cold weather.
- Disadvantages: Require more frequent prewash to remove natural oils in it, slow to dry, more difficult to find in Malaysia and the price more expensive.
6) WOOL
- Natural material from the skin of sheep and suitable as a diaper cover or soakers.
- These material are also often to make sweaters.
- Advantages: Breathable (suitable for baby during hot or cold weather), can be use many times without having to be wash and repelling properties.
- Disadvantages: Requires special care, need 'lanolize' to restore good absorption, difficult to find in Malaysia and the price more expensive.
