Using Cloth Diaper for the First Time
- Before using the Cloth Diaper for the first time, pre-wash the Cloth Diaper and insert. This removes any residues that might be left in the fabric during production processes.
- To get better absorption of the inserts, pre-wash 2-3 times for normal inserts and 6-8 times for bamboo inserts.
- Cloth Diapers are washing-machine-friendly.
- Using laundry bag in washing machine can lengthen the lifetime of Cloth Diaper esp for Velcro.
- Dry Cloth Diaper directly/indirectly under the sun or by using machine cloth dryer.
Re-wash Cloth Diaper after using it
- First thing you need is a dry pail to store the dirty diaper on it.
- Make sure to separate the inserts from the diaper before you storing in a dry pail until you ready to wash it.
- ~Time to washing~ Put the diapers in the washer and run a cold soak or a pre-wash cycle. This rinses out all the initial mess.
- Then wash the diapers on a hot cycle with a double rinse. (Use the recommended amount of detergent which is 1 tablespoon).
- Dry Cloth Diaper directly/indirectly under the sun or by using cloth dryer. Please DON'T!!
- Do not use bleach (eg. Clorox), fabric softener, fabric sheets or Dreft on your Cloth Diaper. All of this things will damage your diapers and inserts some way and it can cause of irritation to baby's skin.
- Wash with cold/warm water. High temperature in hot water will damage the Cloth Diaper's Quality.
- Do not iron or dry-clean as Cloth Diaper might loose it's elasticity.
- Do not brush your Cloth Diaper as it might damage the surface of the Cloth Diapers.
